Release Notes

  • This is the first maintenance release of IP.Board 3.1.x and its applications. We have fixed many reported issues since the first supported released. Even so, as this is only the first maintenance release, there could be as yet undiscovered issues. Please report issues in the bug tracker.
  • Important technical support note: During the launch of the new products, and the great interest they will create, support response times (especially for install or upgrade requests) may be delayed. We appreciate your understanding during the launch time. Support response times have greatly improved since the launch of IP.Board 3.1.0 through the tireless work of our support staff and we expect services to continue to normalize.
  • Other release notes as specified for the IP.Board 3.1.0 launch still apply for this release.


Version 3.1.2 Coming Soon

IPS is dedicated to promptly fixing any reported issues and will do so with the release of version 3.1.2 soon after 3.1.1's release. You may also wish to keep an eye on our knowledge base where we will release patches for any critical issues that come up between the two version releases. There is no set release timeframe for 3.1.2 as we will evaluate based on feedback and and issue reports coming in. As always, follow our company blog for latest information.




What's New

بهتر است قبل از ارتقا به این نسخه به چند نکته ی کوتاه ولی مفید توجه کنید ... :




  • مهمترین نکته قبل از هرکاری گرفتن پشتیبان (backup) از سایتتون ... مخصوصا دیتابیس است که حتما این کار رو از طریق PHPmyAdmin قسمت Export به صورت GZ انجام دهید .
  • قالب قبلی شما که روی نسخه ی 3.0.x اجرا می شد با این نسخه به درستی کار نمی کند و شما باید آن را نیز به روز رسانی کنید :
    • برای این کار می توانید از merge center استفاده کنید و به راحتی قالب خود را به روز رسانی کنید.
    • صبر کنید تا سازنده ی قالبتون ورژن سازگار با 3.1 را منتشر کند.
  • اگر از مد یا application یا hook های ورژن قبلی IPB استفاده می کنید ... طریقه ی تغییر مسیر دادن به فایل های آن ها در این لینک آموزش داده شده : file locations new
  • اگر از سیستم ارتباط با فیس بوک Facebook Connect استفاده می کردید باید application ID فیس بوک خود را نیز وارد کنید . برای اطلاعات بیشتر : این لینک
  • اگر از سیستم های Legacy chat یا Parachat استفاده می کردید و میخواهید باز هم استفاده کنید سیستم را به روز رسانی نکنید چون با IPB 3.1 کار نمی کنند . به جاش می توانید فعلا از محصول جدید IP.Chat service استفاده کنید.

  • We have had three beta releases for testing and are confident any major issues have been addressed. However, as this is the first supported release that will be used by thousands of people, there could be as yet undiscovered issues. Please report issues in the bug tracker.
  • Important technical support note: During the launch of the new products, and the great interest they will create, support response times (especially for install or upgrade requests) may be delayed. We appreciate your understanding during the launch time. If your community is critical in nature and even the slightest delay in support services would impact you then you may wish to wait until version 3.1.1 to upgrade.
  • If you are upgrading from IP.Board 3.0.x then please note that, although this is not a destructive upgrade, you may need to manually update any skins you have using the new merge center to add the new functionality. You may also need to update any custom applications or hooks to use some new file locations. Technical support from IPS for skins is limited. When in doubt contact the author of the skin or use the default skin that ships with IP.Board.
  • If you are currently using Facebook Connect integration, you will now need to add your Facebook application ID into the system settings. Please see this article for more information.
  • Legacy chat services Addonchat and Parachat are no longer supported from version 3.1 onwards. If you are using these older services and wish to continue doing so: do not upgrade to version 3.1 at this time. You may wish to consider switching to our new IP.Chat service.


Version 3.1.1 Coming Soon

As defined in the release notes: because this is the first widely-distributed release there will be as yet undiscovered issues. You can expect a maintenance release, IP.Board 3.1.1 (and other application maintenance releases), in the next two to three weeks (around mid-June) to address issues reported in this first supported release. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can assist us in identifying any problems in this first supported release so we can quickly remedy them in our next update.

دقایقی پیش یک اصلاحیه امنیتی از سوی شرکت IPS برای مشتریان منتشر شد

که در این اصلاحیه امکان ارسال کد های خطرناک جاوا که از طریق آن کوکی ها ی کاربران مورد حمله قرار می گرفت کاملا برطرف شده

این مشکل برای IP.Board 3.0.5 و پایین تر موجود است و روی نسخه ی 3.1.0 که بتا 2 آن امروز منتشر شد وجود ندارد و احتیاج به اصلاح نیست

برای اصلاح کافی است فایل پیوست شده را در مسیر زیر جایگزین کنید :

The first public beta release of IP.Board 3.1, applications, and related services is fast approaching. This blog entry will let you know what to expect and what you can do to help us in the process.

We believe, as most other responsible software development companies do, that releasing beta versions is the best way to ensure that the software is as stable as it can be before a final, supported version is released. These beta releases are for testing purposes and allow our customers who are interested in testing them prior to release a chance to let us know what problems they may find so we can fix them before the software goes out to the many thousands of casual users all over the web.

A beta release will always have issues with the software that need to be addressed so, as always, we do not suggest using beta software on your live site. Please do not use the beta software unless you are comfortable working with software that may have various issues that will need to be addressed in updates.

Over the next two weeks you can expect to see public beta releases of the following:

از اولین زمان انتشار اطلاعیه ای مبنی بر کار روی نسخه 3.1 ما پیشنهادات بسیا بسیاری زیادی در مورد ارتقا و بهبود کارایی سیستم در نسخه جدید 3.1 دریافت کردیم که واقعا خیلی مفید بود. ما به پیشنهادات شما گوش می دهیم ( در اغلب اوقات با شما موافقیم ) و به همین دلیل مصم به اجرا اون ها و پیاده سازی اون ها در نسخه جدید برای داشتن یک سیستم ساده تر ، قابل کاربردی تر و بدون گیج کنندگی هستیم.

تنظیمات پیش فرض بهتر در هنگام بروز رسانی
ما در نسخه اولیه بتا که منتشر کردیم هر آنچه در مورد اطلاع رسانی بود پیاده کردیم ( منظور از اطلاع رسانی گزینه ای که در پنل کاربری هستش) . کارهای زیادی صورت گرفته و بخش اطلاع رسانی تغییرات زیادی داشته از جمله " دوست شما وضعیت خود را بروز کرده است "

غیر فعال کردن popup
از دیگر قابلیت هایی که افزوده شده ، گزینه غیر فعال کردن popup ها است. این تنظمیات به هر کاربر اجازه می ده که از طریق پنل کاربری خود ، این گزینه را فعال یا غیر فعال کند. اگر غیر فعال شود بازم هم اطلاع رانی از طریق پنل کاربری خواهد بود. این یک گزینه خیلی کوچک است ولی باعث می شود کنترل بیشتری در چرخ زنی در سایت داشته باشید.

نمایش تمامی اطلاع رسانی ها در یک پنجره popup

دیگر تغییری که بسیار درخواست شده بود دیدن تمامی تحولات مرتبط با اکانت در یک پنجره popup بود .حالا این تغییر در نسخه جدید صورت گرفته که می تونید در ویدئو زیر ببینید :
